Why Kourtney Kardashian and other 3rd trimester parents need to quit carrying their preschoolers?

Kourtney Kardashian, her momager Kris Jenner and son Mason Disick went shopping and for lunch in Brentwood Monday, June 3. Kourtney recently tweeted that she is now living in maxi dresses! Nice. We love it and we love this geometric patterned dress she wore to lunch under a dark blazer. Love!!
Errr wrong on so many fronts from a woman who didn’t appear to have any children of her own.
First, it isn’t about the mom only but more the baby inside who could suffer. Each time a pregnant woman lifts a heavy object like a 2-year old child who can walk perfectly fine, she runs the risk of the placenta separating from her uterine walls which would be horrible for the baby she is carrying. So medically, it’s not an okay thing to do. It’s called Placenta Abruption and happens in 1 in 120 pregnancies.
Second, a mom’s job is NOT to make the kids happy at all times and risk her unborn’s baby’s health in the process. Kids can cry and whine all they want if they are not picked up. That’s what kids do. They need to learn they can’t always get what they want and certainly can’t be bullying their parents. It sets a bad precedent. Also, crying is good. It builds up their lungs (I’m being facetious here).
At the end of the day, it’s her kid and she can do whatever she wants but we are firm believers in the “it takes a village” philosophy and there’s no harm in pointing it out so others’ who don’t know the error can decide for themselves if they’re in that situation.
